Learning Support
Students with a disability or diagnosed learning disorder may require additional support in one or more aspects of education, whether this is for academic, physical, emotional, social or behavioural needs.
In the mainstream pathway, this support is coordinated by the Learning Support Coordinator in consultation with Student Wellbeing Coordinators and the School Psychology Services.
The level of support required is unique to each student and actioned through a consultation process with parents and guardians, and may also involve therapists, specialists, School Psychology Services and external consulting teachers.

- Education Assistant support for students with an Individual Disability Allocation.
- Curriculum adjustments.
- Assessment adjustments.
- SEN Planning and Reporting.
- Small group social/ emotional skills programs.
- 1:1 support programs.
- Access to the Learning and Wellbeing Hub.
- Case conferences.
- Student-centred planning meetings from Year 8 focused on short and long-term goal planning.
- Small group MacqLit literacy intervention for identified Year 8s.
- OLNA support for students in Year 10-12.
- Neurodiverse transition program for Year 6 students in Term 4.
