Enrolments - How to Apply
Thank you for considering Butler College for your child's secondary education, catering for Years 7-12. Applications can be downloaded (see below) or collected from Administration. We follow all procedures in accordance with Department of Education policy.
Please read the Enrolment Application Procedures and FAQs. Applications must be submitted in person at Administration and can be submitted at any time during the school year. We recommend you begin the enrolment process early, especially if applying for Year 7 the following year, to ensure timely processing* of your child's application and in time for our Transition Programs later in the year. To be eligible for enrolment, students must be residing within the boundaries of our Local Intake Area, as determined by the Department of Education. If you are not permanently residing in our local intake area, contact us to discuss your circumstances.
Health Conditions and/or Disabilities
If your child has health conditions and/or disability, please complete the specific Health Forms and provide diagnosis documents with your application. When submitting your application, we'll arrange an interview with a Deputy Principal or School Nurse to discuss your child's needs. Parents are required to update their child's Health Forms at the start of Term 1 each year to ensure our records are up-to-date.
Selective Programs include Marine Studies, Bush Rangers, High Performance Cricket, Netball & Soccer, and the Arts. Applications open mid-year, for students entering the College the following year. To learn more go to PROGRAMS/SELECTIVE PROGRAMS from the menu above.
