High Performance Netball Program

The High Performance Netball Program offers talented netball players the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge of the game. This course operates as an elective over two semesters, with four sessions per week. It provides students with specialist high-level tuition in strength and conditioning, skill development for netball, strategies and tactics. The program utilises Netball Australia’s development athlete guidelines. Participants in the program will gain coaching and umpiring experiences and have the opportunity to utilise netball as a pathway through Senior School courses in Certificate II in Sport and Recreation and General Physical Education Studies in 2020.

The Program is open to all students students in Years 7 at a cost of $150 per year. All costs are compulsory, necessary to cover netball resources, specialist coaching, health resources and School Sport WA Netball Competition fees and bus hire.

Applicants for the Year 7 2020 Program are required to attend a trial, after which successful applicants will be notified upon selection for the Program.  For more information and to apply, read and complete the Letter & Application Form, and email it to calandra.smith@education.wa.edu.au or send to College Administration.
